High-quality, custom manufactured filter is equivalent to Hoya's IR83, and very similar to Schott's RG830. This filter blocks ALL visible light, and lets only infrared through. It is precisely made to reproduce the size of the factory-installed low-pass filter.
Please be sure all modifications are performed by a qualified technician, and be aware that disassembling the camera in this manner will void the manufacturer's warranty.
