This service includes a functional check and external examination of your equipment, from which we will generate a repair estimate for your consideration. Please allow 3-4 business days from when we receive the equipment until we contact you with the estimate. Business days do not include Sundays or Mondays.
If you approve the repair, the $15 fee is even applied toward the repair cost! Repair times vary with demand, but are usually 3-4 weeks.
If you decide not to go through with the repairs, we will arrange to return the item(s) to you, or, if you prefer, dispose of it. Return shipping costs vary widely with the type of equipment. The $15 is non-refundable.

The purchase of one Estimation covers evaluation of one lens, camera, etc. Cameras may be accompanied by one lens under the same Estimate Fee. If you have many items, or a modular system (e.g. a medium format camera with lens, finder, body, back), please contact us to determine the number of Estimation Orders needed.
This service is good for any of the items that we service, and that's most any photographic equipment: 35mm SLR, point-and-shoot, rangefinders, digital, medium and large format, cameras, lenses, some tripods, enlargers, darkroom timers, and more. NO video equipment, please.
