High-quality, custom manufactured filter is optical-grade clear glass, allowing you to capture the full range of wavelengths that the camera's CCD is sensitive to (approx. 300-1100nm).  It is precisely made to reproduce the size of the factory-installed low-pass filter.
Please be sure all modifications are performed by a qualified technician, and be aware that disassembling the camera in this manner will void the manufacturer's warranty.
